Hello again mortgage and business friends:
I must confess, it feels a bit strange writing this piece today. As most of you know, in addition to being an author and speaker I have been in the mortgage business 25 years. After much thought and contemplation, I am leaving the mortgage business this week to devote full time to writing my next book and expanding my speaking career. Yes, I am going to follow my passion and walk my own talk.

Frankly, I have continually enjoyed the mortgage business all these years most of which has been on the wholesale side. Working with brokers across the country has been fun, exciting, and fulfilling. However, since completing my book (Simple Happy, finally learning to listen to yourself) my Inner Radar has been telling me to jump head first into the writing and speaking, so here I go. I know that many of you are asking the same life questions as me. Is this business for me? Will the market turnaround? How can I make more money? You may also be questioning relationships and/or health issues in your life. Your personal Inner Radar ALWAYS knows what is best for you in today’s moment. How do you access this wonderful inside information? It really is not that difficult. You do what FEELS best. At first this may not be easy, but with practice you will be able to act on your feelings. Many men particularly have trouble with this as they have little experience accessing their feminine feeling side. Yes my friends, we ALL are made up of both male and female energies. Our industry and financial markets are in turmoil, but that does not automatically mean it is time to jump ship. There undoubtedly will be new opportunities created and certainly there will be less competition for the survivors. We may not see 2004 again quickly, but that does not mean all is lost. It is time to reach inside and listen to yourself? What is the best move for you? We are all unique and there is not just one answer.
